PORT ELIZABETH

In July 2008 we opened our Eastern Cape branch in partnership with Derek Eberhard of Photographic Services. Located in Port Elizabeth, we also supply to areas such as the Garden Route, East London and Grahamstown. Letitia Howe is working hard with Derek to ensure smooth sailing. She is an exciting edition to the outfit as she brings her unique film background with her, having studied video production/ film and video technology at Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

The University of Port Elizabeth housed the first photographic institute in South Africa and with most of the SA market already covered it made sense to open Photo Hire here. There is growing emphasis on tourism for sporting events as well as game farms in the area. We cater widely for the wedding market as well.

The division houses a full range of Nikon and Canon cameras and lenses, as well as Hasselblad and Phase Ones medium format digital. On the lighting side are full ranges of Profoto and Elinchrom equipment, Redheads and Blondes. The latest Sony HDV video camera, the Z7 is now also available in PE
